OECD Economic Outlook No.80
The OECD will publish itsEconomic Outlook No. 80, containing its latest economic analysis and projections for major world economies at 11.00 a.m. Paris time (10.00 GMT) onTuesday 28 November 2006.
The OECD's Chief Economist, Jean-Philippe Cotis, will present the Outlook at a news conference (in French with English interpretation) at OECD headquarters, 2 rue André Pascal, Paris 16ème, at 11.00 a.m.The news conference will be broadcast live on the OECD's website (www.oecd.org). The Outlook will be available in English, French and German on the OECD's password-protected website from 11.00 a.m. Paris time for immediate release.
Separate news briefings with OECD economists will be held via videoconference the same day for journalists based in Berlin, Mexico City and Tokyo (timetable available shortly).
Requests to receive the Outlook under embargo by e-mail four hours ahead of release time, or to obtain a password to access the website, should be sent by e-mail to Nicole Le Vourch (mailto:email@example.com), at the OECD’s Media Division by 18.00 Paris time on Thursday 23 November at the latest.
Journalists requesting an electronic version in advance of the release time are asked to give an undertaking to respect the embargo.
Printed copies of the Economic Outlook can be mailed to journalists, on request, on the day of publication.
